“Your Clients Are Looking for More Than Fitness. Give Them Everything They Want” is the theme for this year’s Club Industry show, which will be held October 14th through 17th in Chicago. The conference includes an expanded emphasis on retention, numerous topics that confront today’s economic realities and in-depth coverage of wellness issues.
Club Industry 2009 will also expand on the Active Training seminars, which include both a lecture and a demonstration, either with equipment or through a workout. The schedule also offers roundtables and a wellness networking luncheon with guest presenter David Patchell-Evans, president & CEO of Canada’s successful GoodLife Fitness Centers.
Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are another important aspect of Club Industry 2009, and 14 leading organizations will be on hand to offer CEUs. Several others will be giving Certification Exams or staging Partner Courses, so be sure to check the Web site: www.clubindustryshow.com/national for details.
Ask the Experts sessions are a no-cost, value-added opportunity at the conference, and other complimentary features include The New Face of Club Industry welcome reception, early morning bootcamps and workouts, and SCW Club Studio, a partnership with SCW Fitness Education to bring attendees half-hour group fitness programming.
