Equinox announced its plans to open a second Canadian location in Toronto, Canada. The second location will take the place of the 23,000-square-foot club currently known as The Yorkville Club, located in Hazelton Lanes, Toronto.
This second Canadian location follows the recent announcement that Equinox will open a 40,000-square-foot club this winter in Commerce Court, Toronto. The expansion into Hazelton Lanes, Toronto will mark the company’s third international location, following a club opening in London, England this fall.
“We are excited to continue to bring Equinox to the best locations in Toronto,” said Jeff Weinhaus, the EVP of development for Equinox. “Toronto luxury hotel, retail, restaurant and condominium development is thriving, and our newest location in Yorkville is the perfect complement to our Commerce Court corporate flagship.”
According to Equinox, The Yorkville Club will undergo major changes and improvements. Upon completion, the club will provide members with contemporary design, state-of-the-art equipment, group fitness instructors, personal trainers and experts in wellness.
