Crunch has partnered with soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo and Crunch franchisee Curtis Harman to open CR7 Crunch Fitness in Spain.
To celebrate the launch of the new clubs, Ronaldo put two members through a personal training session. The members, supervised by Ronaldo, had the opportunity of going through a routine of five key exercises which make up part of the CR7 Crunch Fitness method.
According to a press release by Crunch, “The philosophy of CR7 Crunch Fitness seeks to combine the training exercises and methods of a chain such as Crunch, with the sport fitness practices which have made Ronaldo the superstar of the football world.”
In the press release, Ronaldo explained the objective is, “Making taking part in sport and a healthy lifestyle accessible and attractive to all. We want to get across that idea, that they want to have a healthy lifestyle, in which sports are not seen as something boring, but as something which is nice and fun and above all, beneficial.”
According to Harman, the largest Crunch franchisee in Spain, he has high hopes for the success of the brand. “The union of two brands as big as Crunch and CR7 is synonymous with success,” he said. “Working together with Cristiano in order to set out the sporting methods and practices and adapt them for the general public has been a big challenge and a gratifying experience. We are certain that CR7 Crunch Fitness will be a great success in Spain.”
