GOLD’S GYM UNVEILS A NEW CONCEPT GYM
Gold’s Gym announced plans at IHRSA to bring authentic Gold’s Gym design and brand personality to smaller, more personal facilities. This underrepresented segment of the marketplace provides Gold’s Gym with a channel for bringing its authentic total health and fitness experience to more people than ever before, while also meeting the needs of new and existing Gold’s Gym franchisees.
“Adding the new Gold’s Gym concept to our industry-leading collection of fitness facilities is an exciting milestone for our company,” said James Weaver, CEO of Gold’s Gym International. “During tough economic times, gym owners and operators want to invest with the Gold’s Gym brand because we consistently deliver the health and fitness experience their customer’s demand.”
Gold’s Gym’s new concept gym parallels the brand’s commitment to distinctive style, modern design and function, with a twist on the form. The gym’s smaller footprint requires between 8,000 to 13,000 square feet. This smaller size permits expansion into previously undeveloped areas, including rural and urban areas that might not support a full-sized gym.
