Club One announced key leadership changes in its Corporate Health & Fitness Management Division to better position the organization for increased profitability and national growth and to leverage best practices across all channels of business.
Key leadership changes included industry veterans Valerie Gordon and Cheryl Ridall succeeding former Vice President of Corporate Health and Fitness Robyn VanDerLuit. Additionally, Vice President Tom Nelson will drive new business development for Club One’s corporate health and fitness management division and all partner management accounts. Chairman and CEO Robin Klaus will continue to oversee Club One’s Corporate Health & Fitness Channel delivering award-winning corporate wellness programs and fitness center management across the country.
“This strategic leadership transition is a result of our commitment to grow this channel and to our continued dedication to our clients,” said Robin Klaus, the CEO of Club One. “Valerie Gordon and Cheryl Ridall are two exemplary business professionals with complementary expertise that further strengthen our position as the country’s most experienced management team in corporate fitness and population health management. Robyn VanDerLuit has been a significant contributor to Club One’s corporate fitness and wellness activities, the imprint of which will continue to be positively felt by partners and employees for a long time. We are deeply grateful to Robyn and wish her all the best in the successes that await her.”
Valerie Gordon is a 20-year fitness industry veteran with a consistent track record of operational excellence for our corporate fitness management partners. Her leadership can also be credited with the highest employee participation rates in the country.
Cheryl Ridall’s 23 years of experience and understanding of population health management has helped champion companies toward long-term success and superior results. Her leadership in developing innovative corporate wellness programs yields significant return to our current clients and will benefit future partners as we continue to accelerate growth throughout the country.
Furthermore, as the demand for workplace wellness and population health management grows, Club One is uniquely positioned to deliver exceptional results by expanding its offerings and leveraging its best practices across all channels of business. Unlike any other competing fitness provider, Club One, Inc. extends its expertise in running highly successful commercial clubs to its clients. This tremendous advantage of implementing operational best practices is proving to be opportunistic for Club One’s corporate partners, including McAfee who most recently joined forces with Club One this month. McAfee will benefit from Club One’s integrated and turnkey solutions that include fitness center design and procurement, equipment repair and maintenance, weekend access to partner Club One commercial health clubs and access to Club One’s innovative behavioral change digital applications.
“As we move forward to embrace the opportunities created by the changes in the economic environment, this caliber of leadership combined with our expanding value proposition positions Club One to better serve our partners and those seeking total health and wellness management,” continued Klaus. “Our commitment to employers is clear: Club One will play an important role in sustaining a healthy, productive workforce.”
