In February 2011, Crunch Fitness will expand with its seventh franchise location at the Cascade Station Shopping Mall in Beaverton, Ore.
“Beaverton is the perfect place to open my second Crunch location,” said Franchise Owner Steve Block. “Crunch provides a workout experience unlike any other with their no judgments philosophy, and with affordable membership rates, it gives this fitness-friendly community more bang for their buck.”
Crunch Beaverton will be a 17,000-square-foot facility filled with 80 pieces of cardio equipment, including PreCor, Star Trac, Free Motion and Nautilus. Also, it will provide weights and including machines such as Free Motion and Hoist products. There will be expert personal trainers, an online fitness and nutrition program and tanning.
Crunch’s unique programming will be offered in the group fitness studio, including BodyWeb with TRX, BOSU Bootcamp, Belly, Butt and Thighs Bootcamp, Tread and Shred, Fat Burning Pilates and Yoga Body Sculpt.
Owners Steve Block and John LaRosa opened their first Crunch Fitness franchise location, Crunch Gresham, in September 2010. Crunch, owned by New Evolution Ventures (NeV), currently has seven franchise clubs, with over 50 others in the works around the globe.
