What’s the one reason people are members at your club? There’s no such thing. There’s no singular reason people join. There are as many reasons as there are people. However, for most, fitness is a factor.
I still believe people stay members as long as they see results. This should be the primary focus of your communication with members in newsletters, through congratulation notes to keep them motivated, by recognition of achievement and consistently hammering the message home that nothing will happen without effort.
You should always make sure your members know you are there to help and can truly show them the way to results. Nevertheless, it is your job to make it as easy of a request as possible, and have multiple options for them to realize the true potential of your club.
