When asked, members list cleanliness as one of the top reasons they stay or leave a club. Of course when asked, you will always say you clean your club. A crew in the middle of the night or first thing in the morning when you open probably handles the cleaning, or maybe you have the closer do it at night.
Regardless of when the deep cleaning is done, you should always project the appearance that it is a top priority. It doesn’t matter if your club is spotless it is still a good idea to hit the floor at the busiest times and let the members see you keeping the facility clean. This sends the message that you are dedicated to hygiene. You will make a bigger impression on your members and guests if they actually see cleaning being done than if they simply show up to a clean facility.
