Technogym launched its newest product, VARIO, at the Athletic Business Conference in December 2011. VARIO enhances calorie burn by adapting to the user’s movements on the fly. It will start being delivered to facilities in February 2012.
From the classic vertical step, to a simple walk, to a long stride, VARIO adapts dynamically to the user, reducing fatigue and increasing the amount of time actually spent exercising — which enhances results members
see.
Compared with a traditional cross trainer, which has only one kind of movement, VARIO allows you to perform three different motions — step, elliptical and “run” — which you can change without needing to pause your workout or take your feet off the platform.
VARIO is simple to use. The movement pattern is as natural as the user’s own stride. It’s suitable for people of all ages, from the fun-seeker, to the casual walker, to the advanced athlete.
The elegant design integrates seamlessly with existing equipment, while providing an exciting alternative to traditional cross trainers, ellipticals and treadmills. VARIO is available with Visio Web and is iPod compatible.
