Are you mad because you didn’t have sales today and blamed it on the fact that there were no walk-ins? You blame it on the people that didn’t come in today. Well, you have no one to blame but yourself. Walk-in traffic is not going to keep your club afloat in the long run. You need to be creating memberships through one of the many marketing strategies out there.
The point is that if you live by the door, your club will more than likely die by the door. You have to make things happen, not sit and wait for them to happen. So get out of the office chair, become a Chamber of Commerce member and offer everyone that comes to the chamber one free month of membership to your club.
Do you think someone will try out your club? I can almost guarantee they will. Now you’re prospecting. Becoming a part of your chamber is just one of the many prospecting opportunities out there. The key is to do something every day to generate new members in your club.
