Club One announced the appointment of Bill McBride as president in addition to being the COO. McBride, a 20-plus year industry veteran, assumes his new leadership role immediately, and will oversee the company’s strategic initiatives and operational execution across all business channels.
McBride launched into the health club industry in 1986 and joined Club One as the director of operations more than eight years ago. Since then, he has served as the director of sales and operation, vice president of commercial operations and most recently COO with excellence in operations, sales, marketing and financial management.

Two other leadership appointments include the promotion of Bonnie Wheatley to vice president of finance. Previously, she served as the company’s controller since 2000. Wheatley is responsible for finance and accounting, infrastructure technology, and member services.
Club One also announces the addition of Maigread Eichten to its Board of Directors. Eichten was formerly CEO of The FRS Company where she led the explosive growth of this health and wellness products company.
