So many times when talking to club owners, I ask the question, “where are you at for the month?” The common answer I get is “I don’t know.” Ask yourself, how can you set daily goals and decide what kind of marketing you need to do to create cash or EFT for your club?
If you are short of your cash goal, wouldn’t you want to do some sort of early renewal program to generate a little cash for month? What if you are over in cash for the month, why would you even want to present a cash offer in your sales presentation?
Knowing where you are every day will allow you to manage your money so much better. I get calls all of the time five days before the end of the month — “I need to generate cash by the end of them month”. I am thinking to myself, “You are just realizing this now?” What if we knew on the 15th of the month what the projected cash would be for the month? We could get away from all the knee jerk decisions that are made at the end of the month.
