One of the questions I regularly get asked when it comes to sales is “What’s the secret?” I have even been guilty of asking myself. When I reflect back on my sales career I try to think if there was some magic sauce that made the superstars more successful than others. As hard as I searched I don’t believe there was anything.
However, there are some guiding principals that actually do work like magic — whether selling memberships, personal training or toaster ovens. Fortunately, for those of us who aren’t magicians, I don’t think anyone has tried to keep them a secret. So here they are if you somehow missed them:
1. Have a positive attitude
2. Give 110% Percent
3. Do what you say you will do
Nothing mysterious, just basic customer service.
