Merritt Athletic Clubs is inviting all of Baltimore to join them for “Baltimore’s Biggest Holiday Office Party.” The free event will take place on Dec. 8, 2011, from 7:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. In addition to club members, Merritt invites any and all community members 21 years of age or older. VIP section tickets can be purchased for $75.
“Many companies have been forced to forgo their holiday party again this year,” said Donyel Cerceo, the director of marketing for Merritt Athletic Clubs. “We want companies – small and large – to bring their employees to Merritt’s Holiday party to celebrate. We simply ask that employers call and RSVP with an estimated number of guests. ”
Over 35 different restaurants will showcase their food at Merritt’s event. Partygoers will sample some of Baltimore’s finest dining establishments including Fresh Fit, Luna del Sea, Vacarro’s Italian Pastries and Da Mimmos. Free beer will be provided in addition to a cash bar. Entertainment and activities includes live music, disc jockey, balloon artists, caricatures, and a candy bar.
Also, Merritt’s holiday party will feature an array of casino tables including Roulette Wheels and Black Jack games. All proceeds from the games will benefit Business Volunteers Unlimited Maryland (BVU)’s GIVE Program. “BVU is excited to be a part of Merritt’s holiday party,” said Rachel Shuster, the business and community involvement coordinator for Business Volunteers Unlimited Maryland. “They train Baltimore’s best and brightest, exactly the people we want to help develop into Baltimore’s next great generation of civic and community leaders.”
