The Ab Coaster Company donated $10,000 to Augie’s Quest, the Muscular Dystrophy Associations’ ALS research initiative, led by Augie Nieto, during the “Augie’s Bash” event at the IHRSA Convention and Trade Show held in Los Angeles last week. The event raised over $1.4 million for Augie’s Quest. “The fight is gaining momentum with new drugs entering clinical trials this year,” said Nieto.
The Ab Coaster Company raised funds through the sale of Limited Edition Augie’s Quest Ab Coasters®, and for every unit sold the company donated $100 to the initiative. The “Coast for the Quest” campaign began in January 2012, and featured “Ab Coaster Challenges” in participation with health clubs to facilitate funding and support.
