Readouts for users on the display show: Dedicated Speed and include, time elapsed, calories, calories/hour, pace (min/mile or km), distance, course profile, heart rate, heart rate tracking, ¼ mile motivational track and laps completed.
The E-TRxe has heart rate monitoring and uses Polar® Telemetry and Contact Heart Rate System, which allows users to monitor their heart rate by wearing a heart rate strap and then displaying their hear rate through the console or by holding the contact heart rate grips on the treadmill. 
The easy accessible Hot Bar® feature on the E-TRxe allows users the ability to control speed and elevation of the treadmill with one finger. There is an integrated stop button, safety lockout control and contact heart rate grips as well.
The E-TRxe comes with its own PROGRAMS and contains 18 different workouts including Dynamic Heart Rate Control®, Constant Heart Control, Fitness Test (Modified Balke Ware), Firefighter Test (Modified Gerkin Protocol),ARMY Protocol, USMC Protocol, USAF Protocol, NAVY Protocol, three custom workouts and Star Trac Coach®. Star Trac Coach has over 1 million possible workouts to ensure a different workout experience for users every time. The E-TRxe is Fitlinxx® Certified.
