Core Fitness, LLC announced the appointment of Merrill Richmond as its vice president of sales and marketing for StairMaster. In this newly created role, Richmond will be responsible for all sales and marketing activities for the company, reporting to the President of StairMaster, Dustin Grosz.
“We are very happy to have Merrill join the StairMaster team,” said Grosz. “He brings a unique combination of consumer, retail and commercial sales experience as well as fitness experience to StairMaster. In this role, Merrill will provide leadership that will move our business forward and enhance our ability to provide a world-class customer experience for our distributor network, commercial fitness customers and consumer business partners.”
Previously, Richmond led marketing at Town Sports International, operators of the New York Sports Clubs, Boston Sports Clubs, Washington Sports Clubs and Philadelphia Sports Clubs brands. Prior to joining TSI, he developed numerous successful consumer marketing and retail marketing programs for The Walt Disney Company’s consumer products division. Most recently, Richmond designed and created field sales and marketing programs for Weight Watchers International.
