MINDBODY, a provider of business management software for beauty, health and wellness, will host the company’s first BOLD MINDBODY Conference, a two-day event for MINDBODY software subscribers.
“Growing a business is a journey – both challenging and rewarding,” said Rick Stollmeyer, the CEO and co-founder of MINDBODY. “This conference will bring our clients together to share their experiences: how did they begin, how did they grow, what were their biggest challenges along the way?”
The conference will take place during October 13-14 in Santa Monica, California, and registration for the event is now open. Early bird pricing of $199 is available through June 30.
The conference will feature presentations by MINDBODY clients and executives about best business practices, the latest updates regarding MINDBODY products, morning wellness classes, networking events, an expo hall and more.
Stollmeyer will kick off the event with a talk on creating, sustaining and growing a successful business. Breakout sessions will follow, exploring business management, staff management, marketing, sales and personal development. Speakers include various business leaders in the wellness and beauty industry. Alison Sweeney, author of Scared Scriptless and host of the hit TV show The Biggest Loser, will be a keynote speaker, inspiring attendees to become their best selves by taking chances and following their dreams.
The business sessions will be complemented with a variety of wellness classes — from meditation to fitness. The entire event will culminate in a BOLD Awards ceremony, hosted by Alison Sweeney, to celebrate MINDBODY clients that have reached milestones in the past year – from the biggest year-over-year growth to the most online sales. The winner of the MINDBODY BOLD video contest, in which clients were asked to make a video that embodies what it means to be BOLD in business, will also be announced.
“Our clients are a huge inspiration to each other and to us here at MINDBODY,” said Stollmeyer. “This event is meant to celebrate their successes and help them achieve even more in the next year.”
