Last week I shared a few apps and pieces of technology that can help you work from home during the days you just can’t make it into your place of business. To continue that theme, I’d like to share a few other productivity apps that can help you in other areas of your business as well.
Buffer
Sometimes, accessing all of your company’s different social media channels can be a pain. Afterall, you likely have different passwords and styles for each channel. Buffer can help. Once you’ve linked your social media accounts to Buffer, there’s no need to log into each one ever again. Instead, you can manage each from the Buffer platform. In addition, it allows you to schedule posts out in advance, making social media management even easier and less time consuming. Oh, and it’s basic platform is free.
Mailbox
Some of us get tons, if not a hundred, of emails per day. As a result, it’s hard to keep on top of it, and getting behind on email can be a nightmare. With Mailbox, managing email is a lot easier. You can quickly swipe messages to your archive or trash and scan conversations so they appear in chat-like form. And, if you don’t have time to address an email then and there, you can “snooze” a message so that it appears at a better time. If Mailbox doesn’t sync with your email, try giving CloudMagic a shot.
Refresh
If you meet a lot of new people, keeping track of who’s who can be tough. Let Refresh do the remembering for you. A great tool for salespeople especially, Refresh is “an app for iOS that prepares the right insights about the people you’re about to meet so you can spark what’s possible in every conversation.” The app syncs with your calendar, so that you never meet with a new person without some talking points prepared.
Evernote
Evernote is a great tool for helping you and your employees stay organized. You can “clip web articles, capture handwritten notes and snap photos to keep the physical and digital details of your projects with you at all times.” There are free and premium options available, and you can also manage projects from one platform with Evernote Business. In fact, Evernote is one of the top-rated productivity apps on the market.
For even more productivity apps, take a look at Lifehack’s list. It has tons more options that can help you improve your workflow.
