Crunch Fitness announced it will open its second location in the Los Angeles area in the Burbank Town Center at 761 N. San Fernando Blvd. The West Hollywood location is the 36th Crunch club to open worldwide.
“We are thrilled to open our much-anticipated Crunch location in Burbank and expand our brand footprint in the Los Angeles area,” said Keith Worts, president of Crunch. “There’s no better place to introduce our fitness meets entertainment philosophy than to the entertainment capital of the world as we continue our aggressive growth strategy across the U.S. and beyond.”
The 26,000-square-foot facility will house top-of-the-line cardio equipment and strength training machines, a personal training area, an online fitness and nutrition program, Kid’s Crunch, sauna and full service locker rooms. Weekly classes will be offered in the group fitness studio and indoor cycling studio, including AntiGravity Yoga, Pole Dancing, The Ride and LaBlast, taught by celebrity instructor Louis Van Amstel.
Crunch, owned by Angelo Gordon and New Evolution Ventures (NeV), has opened 17 new gyms in the past two years and plans to build more new locations are in the pipeline.
