The Sports Club/LA and Reebok Sports Club/NY introduced Vinyasa Vibes, a signature series of mind body classes paired with music of today’s most innovative artists.
The first of the Vinyasa Vibes series launches tonight, Nov. 3, at Reebok Sports Club/NY with a unique event featuring the music of six-time GRAMMY® nominee Dave Koz’s latest CD, “Hello Tomorrow”, which contains the No. 1 hits “Put The Top Down” and “Anything’s Possible.” This music is paired with a soulful, intimate yoga class created in collaboration with renowned yoga instructor, Kristin McGee.
Following the class, a private reception will be held with Koz as the special guest. Each participant at the event will also receive a limited-edition gift set featuring the “Hello Tomorrow” CD and Vinyasa Vibes class flow.
Vinyasa Vibes will also be introduced at Sports Club/LA locations in Boston, Miami, New York-Upper East Side, San Francisco and Washington D.C. in late-fall 2011 and into early 2012.
“It’s amazing and inspiring to see the music of ‘Hello Tomorrow’ used in this wonderful and unique way,” said saxophonist, Dave Koz. “I am honored to partner with Reebok Sports Club/NY and The Sports Club/LA, and be included in the Vinyasa Vibes series–and super-excited to see how this program unfolds! I am big fan of yoga and appreciate the immeasurable gifts it provides to its practitioners. I’m hopeful that by adding music with a focused intention to the course, it will take the experience to a whole new physical and emotional level.”
“Our clubs and talented instructors continually strive to create unique classes,” said Jacqie Stathis, the national director of group exercise, for Millennium Partners Sports Club Management. “I am excited to provide our members and guests with an incredible vinyasa yoga class designed to flow with the beautiful music of ‘Hello Tomorrow.’ It is an experience they will not find at another health club, and because they also receive a gift set, they will be able to practice at home.”
