Life Time Fitness, Inc. announced plans to open its newest healthy-way-of-life destination in Colorado Springs, Colo., in May 2011. Life Time Fitness Colorado Springs will mark Life Time’s fourth location in Colorado.
The destination will offer a comprehensive array of sports and athletics, family recreation and entertainment, professional fitness and spa programs and services designed to address members’ interests and help them achieve their health and fitness goals.

Life Time Fitness Colorado Springs will offer 24-hour access to multiple dedicated group exercise, Pilates and LifePower Yoga studios. Additionally, it will have a state-of-the-art cycle theater equipped to deliver an authentic cycle experience, a mixed martial arts room, more than 400 pieces of state-of-the-art cardiovascular and resistance training equipment and the region’s best tennis facilities with eight indoor courts, spectator viewing areas and a pro tennis shop.
The center will also boast large indoor and outdoor aquatics centers, complete with two-story outdoor waterslides, large zero-depth entry recreation pools, lap pools and children’s interactive play areas, two whirlpools and an outdoor bistro.
Furthermore, members can take advantage of LifeSpa and Salon, that delivers a full range of hair, nail and skin care services and therapeutic massage, and LifeCafe, that offers healthy food and beverage services.
Families will appreciate the facility’s large, interactive child center, featuring an eMac computer center, junior sport court, children’s activity areas and a separate infant playroom. Dedicated family locker rooms are also available.
