Planet Fitness will hold a special springtime promotion to raise money for The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. For every new member that joins Planet Fitness between Monday, March 26 and Wednesday, April 4, the company will donate $10 to the foundation.
More than 320 Planet Fitness gyms will participate in the event. This is the third year that Planet Fitness has hosted the fundraiser — so far the company has donated $592,522 to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation over the past two years as a result of the promotion.
“We’re very excited to be able to help such a terrific charity whose sole focus is finding a cure for this awful disease,” said Eric Vaden, the vice president of marketing at Planet Fitness. “Our network of franchisees has really embraced this cause. We know that this is a long battle and a lot of research has to be done, but every little bit counts.”
