Education is the key to keeping trainers motivated. Education that you provide as a fitness manager, or that which you bring in from an outside source, is crucial to keep your staff motivated and excited about exercise. The more a trainer knows, the more a trainer can correct and motivate clients to get the results that they want.
The old saying is very true, “there is more than one way to skin a cat.” The more tools that a trainer has at their disposal, the more they can achieve results for clients, and as we know, that is the reason we are in business.
Providing education also gets trainers motivated themselves. It is very hard to motivate a client to work hard when you, as a trainer, are sometimes lacking in your own personal workouts. This is where education comes in for trainers, helping to prevent them from getting stale.
