Planet Fitness has appointed a new Chief Information Officer, Robert Anderson. Anderson will report directly to Planet Fitness’ current CEO, Chris Rondeau, and will be responsible for all technology initiatives within the company.
“Robert is a dynamic leader and has a demonstrated track record of delivering exceptional results and fostering innovation,” said Chris Rondeau, in a press release. “With more than 25 years of technology and executive leadership experience, we are thrilled that Robert is joining the Planet Fitness team and are confident that he will help us continue to implement best-in-class technology solutions for our franchisees and members.”
Anderson is no stranger to technological leadership. Prior to Planet Fitness, Anderson established Dartmouth Data Ventures, a marketing and business development company, which boasted Planet Fitness as a client. In addition, Anderson was the Chief Information Officer for the state of New Hampshire.
According to Planet Fitness, Anderson will be instrumental is ensuring the company has the best infrastructure, information systems and technology partnerships to drive the brand’s growth.
