TITLE Boxing Club, a fast-growing boxing and kickboxing franchise, has opened its first international location in Cancun, Mexico.
Owned by Patricio Muldowney, the Cancun location opened on January 17, 2014.
“There’s an incredible demand for high-quality, results-driven workouts both in the U.S. and abroad,” said John Rotche, the president of TITLE Boxing Club, in a statement. “We were confident that the TITLE experience will fill a niche in the Mexican market the way it has here in the states, by offering an unparalleled workout and an outlet to build and maintain physical and mental strength.”
According to TITLE Boxing Club, the Cancun location is jumpstarting the franchise’s global expansion efforts, with plans to open international locations in Canada, Columbia, Chile, Spain, Dubai and the UK.
Stateside, TITLE Boxing plans on opening 75 to 100 additional locations by the end of 2014. To date, TITLE Boxing Club boasts 130 locations in the U.S.
TITLE Boxing Club’s hour-long classes are led by trained instructors who take participants through an interval-based workout featuring elements of boxing and kickboxing.
TITLE Boxing Club was founded in Overland Park, Kansas, in January 2008. The franchise was ranked No. 235 on Entrepreneur Magazine’s 35th Annual “Franchise 500 List” in 2014.
