InTouch Technology, a provider of sales and retention software to over 900 health clubs, has announced the launch of a new iPad Welcome Kiosk. The new version of the InTouch Welcome Kiosk allows clubs to capture lead information by having guests enter their details on an iPad when they walk into a club.
The kiosk was developed to help customers more effectively capture walk-in leads, improve their guest experience and let sales staff focus on touring and selling to leads. With the InTouch Welcome Kiosk, leads enter their details electronically and the information flows automatically into InTouch Follow-Up. This means that clubs can be sure that follow-up communications are scheduled for every walk-in lead and that they have accurate contact information so staff are able to proactively follow-up. Because the Welcome Kiosk is a self-serve station, clubs can streamline their front desk process and engage guests right away, even during busy times.
“InTouch Follow-Up is all about communication,” said Dag Lee, the chairman of the InTouch Technology Board of Directors. “We believe in reaching out throughout the entire lead and member lifecycle to help generate leads, close more sales and retain a higher percentage of members. If health clubs aren’t capturing lead details accurately or not even capturing those leads at all, they can’t effectively follow-up and sell to them. The InTouch Welcome Kiosk eliminates the problem of lead information being written down on paper and then getting lost or having contact details that staff are unable to read.”
When InTouch Technology launched their first Welcome Kiosk in November 2012, they did so on an Android tablet. The Welcome Kiosk received an overwhelming response from customers as clubs noticed that their sales statistics became more accurate, since leads were not getting missed anymore.
However, the most common feedback from customers was that they wanted the kiosk to run on an iPad because they often had access to an iPad already. With this request in mind, InTouch Follow-Up developed an iPad version of the kiosk and debuted a beta at the IHRSA 2014 tradeshow in March. InTouch Follow-Up customers can now supply their own iPad and simply contact InTouch Technology to get their Welcome Kiosk up and running.
