SPRI Products, Inc., a leading distributor of rubberized resistance products and fitness accessories, has added Jonna Pento and Andy Hubbard to its commercial sales team in the health club market; Pento as Eastern Regional Sales Manager and Hubbard as Western Regional Sales Manager.
“Both Jonna and Andy are experienced professionals in the fitness industry, and we are confident that they will be key players in building our brand even more in the competitive health club market,” said Pat Miles, the director of sales at SPRI. “We are excited to have them on our team.”
Pento, a NSCA-certified personal trainer and strength and conditioning specialist, most recently was a territory sales manager and brand manager for ALINE Systems, a leader in movement efficiency and functional mechanics with advanced insoles for athletes and recreation enthusiasts. There he served as the brand’s ambassador to IMG Academy, a prestigious sports training center in Bradenton, Florida.
Pento also has experience in the health care industry, and has coached basketball at both the high school and collegiate levels. With a B.S. in Kinesiology and Exercise Physiology from West Chester University of Pennsylvania, he is based in Chicago.
A fitness industry veteran, Hubbard formerly spent seven years at Power Systems, Inc., where he created the company’s national accounts program and worked extensively with health club owners and operators. Most recently, he served as the head of sales and operations in the U.S. for Escape Fitness USA, a worldwide supplier of fitness equipment, accessories and flooring.
Hubbard has a B.A. in political science from University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He is based in Knoxville, Tennessee.
