Effective January 2, 2015, ECORE International, a company that transforms reclaimed waste into unique performance surfacing, will acquire all outstanding membership interests in Centaur Floor Systems, a California limited liability company (LLC), from John Donati, its sole member.
“John will continue to manage the Centaur business, while championing the promotion of Boen Sport products through ECORE Athletic and ECORE Commercial Flooring” said Bo Barber, the vice president of ECORE Sales and Marketing.
Centaur, located in Santa Barbara, California, was formed in 1997 as a fitness flooring distributor, and has been a longstanding ECORE customer. Centaur’s line of flooring products include recycled rubber, manufactured by ECORE, wood and carpet.
One of ECORE’s main benefits to this acquisition will be the introduction of Boen (wood) and Sportweave (carpet) product lines to the ECORE salesforce.
