InTouch Technology Inc. announced that its Board of Directors appointed Nico Bot, co-founder of InTouch, as the company’s new CEO in addition to his continued role as a board member.
“We are fortunate to be able to name Nico as CEO and achieve continuity in leadership. As a co-founder of InTouch, Nico truly understands the business and our industry. He is a great fit for moving the company forward,” said Dag Lee, Chairman of the Board of Directors.
Nico Bot co-founded InTouch in 2006 and has been actively engaged in the health and fitness sector ever since. In 2010 the 25-year veteran of technology moved into an advisory position on the InTouch Board and has remained involved in the company. Prior to helping found InTouch Technology, he strategically directed large corporations in ERP business processes and held several senior technical-level positions at Baan, working with Europe’s largest manufacturing companies. Nico will succeed Sandra Wear who resigned this summer and will effectively step down with Nico’s appointment. He will be based out of InTouch’s headquarters in Vancouver, BC.
“As a long-time supporter of InTouch I am excited to be involved in the day-to-day operations of InTouch again,” said Bot. “I look forward to working with the team in place to build upon the mark we have already made in the industry. My top priority is to keep us focused on what our clients need, both today and tomorrow.”
As InTouch enters its 10th year of business the company has a unique opportunity in the health and fitness industry. InTouch plans to expand its current lead and sales management offering by providing health club owners and operators with the KPIs they need to run healthier businesses right in the palm of their hand.
