As competition increases, health club operators seek new sources of members and revenue. This event will give you the road map you need to reach that goal.
Successful health clubs of the future will integrate fitness and healthcare, drawing revenue from new sources. So how do you ensure you are one of those successful businesses? By investing a little time attending the Healthcare & Fitness Integration Track and Summit, a new event Club Industry is introducing at the Club Industry Show, Oct. 9-11 at the Hilton Chicago.
This unique three-day event is a great opportunity to discover the growing potential in partnership between the healthcare and health club industries, and how these partnerships can lead to better results for your members and higher revenue for your club.
Collaboration between the medical community and health clubs allows physicians to serve their patients more effectively through referrals to health clubs, while health club operators can increase their membership base and improve the health of the physician’s patients and their members, all while creating new, alternative revenue streams for both groups.
The Healthcare & Fitness Integration Track on Oct. 9 focuses specifically on health club operators, sharing case studies on partnerships and programs that have led to increased revenue, as well as sessions on how technology and nutrition play a role in collaboration between the groups.
The Healthcare & Fitness Integration Summit, which occurs on Oct. 10-11, features presentations by physicians, as well as health club operators, featuring content relevant to medical professionals, health system administrators, fitness professionals, health club operators and other C-level executives. The summit covers topics such as how the healthcare landscape is changing, the psychology behind obesity and motivation, and opportunities in serving people with diabetes, cardiac disease and weight management issues.
The event was created with the guidance of track chair Kevin Steele, president of PTA Global and PTontheNet, as well as the following advisory board members: Dr. Silvana Pannain, associate professor of obesity medicine and endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism at the University of Chicago; Dr. Vaishali Geib, chief medical officer at ReShape MD, and medical director of population health at Privia Health; Doug Ribley, senior vice president of health and wellness services at Cleveland Clinic Akron General; Jeff Skeen, CEO and principal of Results Redefined; and Bob Nagy, national director of fitness and wellness at Virtual Health Partners.
The event is sponsored by ABC Financial, Human Touch, Kinetisense, Styku, TMI Sustainable Aquatics, WellD, Novo Nordisk, The Perfect Step, ProLon and Complete Medical Supplies.
