How were you introduced to Aktiv Solutions and why did you decide to partner with them?

JE: I was first introduced to Aktiv through a friend of mine in the industry, and I felt the GYM RAX rig was superior to every other functional training rig I looked at.

Can you shared your experience working with Aktiv to design a diverse space that would support several different workout formats?

JE: I worked with Aktiv on two different locations. One was to build a rig off our basketball court where we could offer total body workouts and boxing training. This rig was 16 bays long and provided a great new space for our members. I think the GYM RAX rig is the best in the industry.

What do your members love most about the training space Aktiv designed and outfitted, especially with the amount of users that can be accommodated in each class?

JE: We also built a full boxing studio where we have two double bridges, which created space for 24 participants — this space allows members to train in boxing. We also built the rig extra high to allow for other functional training components. Of our seven new studios, this is one of the favorites.

What do your staff and you love most about the new functional training environment created by Aktiv?

JE: The Aktiv functional training area allows us to market a separate and unique studio, which provides a great experience for our members. We have created seven branded studios within a 150,000-square-foot, multi-purpose lifestyle facility.
