Precor, a world-class provider of commercial fitness solutions, and Stages Cycling, the leading manufacturer of commercial indoor cycles, power meters, and cycle computers, have announced intentions to enter into a strategic global distribution agreement that will expand the availability and reach of Stages Cycling products to new markets and customers.
Precor plans to become the worldwide distributor of Stages Cycling’s commercial product lines. The agreement will leverage Precor’s extensive sales, service and distribution network in over 100 countries to bring Stages Cycling to commercial clubs, hospitality venues, education institutions, multi-family residential complexes, corporate wellness centers, and country clubs.
Stages Cycling’s products include the Stages SC3, the bike of choice for the world’s leading fitness operators, and the SC2, the number one selling bike in the global boutique cycling sector. Additionally, Stages Studio provides cloud-based advanced data analysis, group display and motivational indoor cycling experiences.
Dustin Grosz, CEO of Precor, said: “Stages Cycling is a global leader in the cycling industry, with products that are trusted by professional cyclists and indoor cycling studios around the world. We are excited to offer their innovative cycling products to our customers, who are looking for best-in-category equipment that is backed by the service and support of a partner they trust.”
Jim Liggett, CEO of Stages Cycling, said: “We are thrilled to partner with Precor, a company that shares our passion for innovation, quality, and customer service. This agreement will allow us to reach new customers and markets with our products, and to provide them with the best possible support and service.”
The agreement between Precor and Stages Cycling is expected to take effect in the summer of 2023. Customers can contact their local Precor sales representative or authorized distributor for more information on Stages Cycling products.
This is exciting news for the cycling industry! The partnership between Precor and Stages Cycling will make Stages’ commercial indoor cycling products more accessible to a wider audience. This could lead to increased interest in cycling and a boost for the cycling accessories market. I’m curious to see how this partnership will develop and what new products it will bring.
