As a result, it’s vital to develop decision makers within your team and business. In this video, Ludwig shares three tips for developing decision makers:
1. Bring the best people within your business into the conversation.
2. Clarify what decisions you want an employee to make, versus what decisions you simply want their opinion on. Preframe the conversation. This helps the employee understand when you truly want them to make a decision.
3. Let them know it’s OK to disagree. Many times, employees simply want to agree with you because they respect you, they like you or maybe they just think you know better.
