Massage and Fitness

As a fitness club owner, you are always searching for different services to improve your facility’s bottom line and differentiate your club from the competition. Dry-water automated massage systems accomplish both these goals, and most systems require about the same level of maintenance and assistance as your existing fitness equipment. Professional massage results can be expected from top-of-the-line dry-water massage systems that allow you to remain clothed while rejuvenating the body at a fraction of the cost and time of manual massage. Some systems come with interactive touch-screen technology and pre-programmed massage profiles allowing even the first-time user to easily operate the system and receive a custom massage every time.

Fitness centers already offering this service have found lucrative results. For a nominal $15 per month, a member of a fitness club could be granted access to the water massage system. If the member used the system once per week, massage sessions would cost that member less than $4 each. Undressing is not necessary, so the system can be placed in an open area, and it can be setup with a smart card, token or reception-controlled timer system. Since some machines require only a 9′ by 6′ space to operate, you can be sure that you are maximizing profit potential in limited space situations.

Even smaller fitness centers only need to sign-up 200 automated massage members to earn an additional $3000 a month, or $36,000 for the year! One fitness center reported earning more than $10,000 in one month with two dry-water massage systems in a 24-hour club.

Lease-to-own programs have made the dry-water massage concept even more feasible to most fitness centers. Slow-start leasing programs require as little as $25 a month in the first year, allowing the club to build a steady clientele of members in the first year, thus maximizing profitability.

Major factors to consider when evaluating the purchase of a drywater massage system for your club:

1. System performance

a. Full body coverage

b. Quality and type of water jets

c. Variable functions (i.e. pressure and pulsation frequency)

2. Proven reliability and low maintenance

3. Easy self-use operation

4. Customer service availability and hours of operation

5. A multi-year warranty for parts and labor

6. A system that is independent laboratory-tested for safety.
