Believe it or not, one great way to get your members to become more loyal is to get them to buy MORE from you. This includes anything from fitness bootcamps and personal training, to simpler items such as a protein bar and yoga mats. The more involved you get your members and the more programs and items you get them to purchase, the more likely they are to feel you are a very integral part of their lives. Those members who buy a membership, but never get involved in anything else, are the members who will likely cancel when (or before!) their membership agreement comes to an end.  Get your members involved often, and get them involved early.
