One of the biggest problems exercisers can have with working out can be the motivation to develop a routine. Fitness expert Maureen “Mo” Hagan advises that getting in shape should be simple at first. She says people should try to begin with a 30-minute workout, six days a week for six weeks.
Exercising for that amount of time can lay a solid foundation and provide the motivation to go into week seven. Hagan said that it can take anywhere from 21 to 30 days to develop a habit and somewhere between 30 and 90 days to see solid physiological changes.
Hagan has been traveling the world for the past 25 years sharing her passion for fitness. She is also the vice president of GoodLife Fitness in Canada. She has been employed by GoodLife since 1984 and still teaches weekly group exercise classes in London, Ontario.
