Beachbody®, developers of INSANITY® and a variety of other at-home fitness programs, announced the launch of its INSANITY Certification for personal trainers and group exercise instructors.
Designed to provide expert guidance on how to teach INSANITY, the certification process explains the moves, science of MAX Interval Training and other essential tips to successfully motivate and lead classes. After completing an INSANITY Certification, instructors will be armed with the necessary tools — from posters to business cards — to build a successful business and help clientele achieve maximum fitness results.
“The popularity and efficacy of INSANITY prompted requests from fitness professionals everywhere inquiring about when the program would be brought to gyms and health clubs,” said Carl Daikeler, the chairman and CEO of Beachbody, LLC. “Because the structure of INSANITY fits naturally within the group exercise model, and has mass appeal for both men and women, expanding the franchise into the commercial fitness realm made a lot of sense. We believe INSANITY is the next evolutionary step in group exercise and are proud to add it to our established certification lineup that includes P90X, Turbo Kick, PiYo Strength and Hip Hop Hustle.”
An INSANITY Certification consists of a one-day, eight-hour workshop course designed to teach instructors an exclusive INSANITY workout from start to finish, including all modifications. The workshop concludes with a written test assessing the instructors’ practical knowledge necessary to effectively train clients in a group exercise setting. INSANITY Certification workshops are $249 and are led by INSANITY Master Trainers, a distinct group of trainers who were hand-picked during an extensive, nationwide search.
The first-ever INSANITY Certification workshops took place at the 2013 EMPOWER! Fusion Weekend Fitness Celebration in Chicago. For more information, updates on INSANITY Certification or workshop dates and locations, go to www.INSANITYCertification.com.
