It maintains a normal step height of an 8-inch stair, but offers a lower initial step height of 11 inches, making it easier to get on and off the unit. Combining that with Jacobs Ladder’s patented Waist Belt Speed Control, which stops the unit when the user gets to the bottom, gives increased safety to the Stairway for all gym owners.
