Eric Casaburi, the founder and CEO of Retro Fitness, explained why Retro Fitness chose Sun Capsule to fulfill its members’ tanning needs.
CS: How were you introduced to Sun Capsule, and why did you decide to partner with them?
EC: A few years ago we were having difficulty with our line of tanning booths breaking down. After numerous complaints from customers, as well as our club owners, a service technician asked why we were not using Sun Capsule for our tanning equipment needs. In looking back, the service tech lost quite a bit of future repair work, but Retro Fitness gained a great tanning booth that just runs and runs.
CS: Do Sun Capsule’s products solve a challenge you had before the partnership?
EC: Sun Capsule has solved virtually all of our tanning equipment problems. Its booths look amazing, tan great and virtually never break down. Our priority is servicing our customers and not our equipment. Thanks to Sun Capsule, that’s exactly what we are doing.
CS: What do your members think of Sun Capsule’s product, and how does it benefit them?
EC: Our tanning is offered as an added service to our clients. We have used tanning as a part of our overall business model for many years and we see it as a great addition to our clubs and to our customers.
Unlike old boring tanning equipment, our Sun Capsules are extremely powerful and would typically be sold as a level III tanning system in a full-service tanning salon. By offering our customers a high-quality tan, they can save money and time by not having to go to a full-service salon.
CS: What is the greatest benefit from working with and using Sun Capsule?
EC: They are our partners in every sense of the word. Not only do we get a great tanning booth, we also get a great support system. It seems like every year they are coming up with new ways to make our equipment and relationship better than it already is.
