Peak Pilates® announced that registration is open for the second annual Pilates Empowerment Summit. The fitness event has a new home in Denver, Colorado, the state where Peak Pilates originated, and will be held October 17-19, 2014.
Attendees will be able to advance their practice by discovering fun, new programming, team-building activities and networking opportunities throughout the 75 sessions led by top industry presenters and Master Instructors. Those who take advantage of first-day registration will enjoy a special all-inclusive rate of $349, and the price will go up to $359 for the remainder of June the following day.
“We are very excited about hosting this year’s event in Denver,” said Dr. Kevin Steele, the vice president of programs and education for Mad Dogg. “We asked our audience where they wanted the event to be and they chose Colorado. We are excited to have this be a homecoming of sorts since Peak Pilates was founded in Colorado. Last year’s event was a huge success and we look forward to bringing in a multitude of new workshops and programming for attendees to grow their practice.”
Highlights this year include the three-hour workshop Legacy Workout taught by Colleen Glenn, one of the creators of the Peak Pilates education, where participants will enjoy a refreshing and educational experience and leave feeling inspired physically, mentally and spiritually. Internationally recognized Pilates instructors Michael Fritzke and Ton Voogt will be presenting several sessions, including Super Advanced Reformer and Men are from Mars: Pilates for Men. These sessions will offer vital information on how instructors can best train both their highly advanced and male clientele.
Peak Pilates team manager and Master Instructor Zoey Trap will be teaching several noteworthy workshops, including Back in Action: Flexible Solutions with Flexcushion®. This session will offer solutions to aid a variety of clients’ issues such as lower back pain, hip dysfunction, cervical problems, osteoporosis, stenosis and more. Many other complementary brands will be implemented into sessions over the course of the weekend, including SmartSpine®, Ugi® and Bodyblade®.
The Pilates Empowerment Summit will be hosted at Sheraton in downtown Denver. Attendees can book rooms for a special reduced rate of $165 per night during the conference. Participants who register early will take advantage of a lower sign up rate, which will be $359 in June after the first-day price of $349 closes, and go up by $10 every month until October. Single-day passes will be available for $149.
