Johnson Health Tech North America, Inc. announced that its commercial brand, Matrix Fitness, was awarded the 2016 Gold’s Gym Equipment Vendor of the Year, its fourth such honor in the past eight years.
Gold’s Gym franchisees from 38 states and 17 countries ranked vendors in several areas, such as customer satisfaction and overall product quality, to name Matrix Fitness the Vendor of the Year in the Equipment category.
Matrix has previously won the award in 2009, 2012 and 2013. Gold’s Gym and its Gold’s Gym Franchisee Association (GGFA) collaborated on this year’s Convention themed, “ALL IN 2016.” Over 650 attendees representing 721 locations gathered at the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas for four days of education sessions and networking events.
“We are very appreciative of this award and recognition as voted by the franchisees themselves,” said Kent Stevens, Matrix Executive vice president. “Matrix continually tries to provide a superior experience for our customers, and this award helps validate that we are achieving this with a legendary account in Gold’s Gym.”
Seth Robinson, Matrix Fitness Strategic Account Manager for Gold’s Gym, adds, “On behalf of Matrix Fitness, I would like to thank Gold’s Gym International and all of the Gold’s Gym family for this respected award. It is an honor to part of a brand and family that brings such success and energy to the fitness industry.”
