Crunch Fitness announced two new hires. Chad Waetzig will serve as the new executive vice president, marketing and branding, and Michael Pozner will serve as senior vice president, real estate and development.
Waetzig has worked for companies such as Procter & Gamble, Disney and Marriott International. He was also Sheraton’s senior vice president of marketing at Starwood Hotels & Resorts. In his new role, Waetzig will be responsible for the planning and strategic direction of marketing programs at Crunch.
“I am thrilled to have Chad join our team as executive vice president of marketing and branding,” said Keith Worts, the CEO of Crunch, in a press release. “As Crunch continues to grow, I know his experience and expertise are exactly what we need to increase our brand awareness and marketing tools. Chad’s knowledge and background in the health and wellness industry give him the unique ability to expand our brand from multiple perspectives to reach the best outcome.”
Pozner comes to Crunch from SoulCycle, where he was the head of real estate. His duties at Crunch will focus on new acquisition/expansion and portfolio management.
