FitnessEMS is proud to announce that Tony Pinkerton has been selected to lead the operations and technical development team as the new COO.
Pinkerton has been with the company since its inception and has been instrumental in developing the FitnessEMS asset management system. Pinkerton’s new role as COO will focus primarily on integration of the system with other platforms across the industry.
“We are very excited about Tony’s new roll with FitnessEMS,” says CEO and President Tom Strickland. “This new directive will help achieve ‘Standardization of Service’ across the industry. Our focus is connecting club owners, managers, manufacturers, service providers and the equipment itself all in one simple solution. Asset management has become extremely necessary in our industry and FitnessEMS is at the forefront.”
“I am thrilled to lead the company on these initiatives and look forward to where FitnessEMS is headed and the implementation of the new features slated for 2017,” said Pinkerton. “We are currently working on integrating FitnessEMS with other industry-wide applications such as CRM software, as well as the ability to report warranty issues directly to the manufacturer and submitting warranty claims all right from the system.”
Tony has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering Technology from the Southern College of Technology and has held several years of technical experience and leadership in the fitness service industry.
