With 3,600 locations worldwide, Anytime Fitness has a lot of members to please. Therefore, the fitness franchise is careful with whom it partners on things like equipment. Here, Shelly Nikolou, the director of partnerships for Anytime Fitness, shares why it offers Octane Fitness equipment within their clubs, and why the manufacturer is a preferred vendor.
CS: How were you introduced to Octane, and why did you decide to work with them?
SN: We believe their ellipticals and LateralX are some of the best in the marketplace. The products offers differentiation for our members. In addition, they have great customer service and our franchisees love working with Octane Fitness.
CS: What are the benefits to your business as a result of this partnership?
SN: Their products offers a level of differentiation and quality. All of the products they offer are approved for our clubs, which includes all of the ellipticals, Zero Runner, xRide recumbent elliptical and the Airdyne bike. The best-selling piece for us in the LateralX.
CS: Have you been pleasantly surprised by working with Octane in any way?
SN: Everyone there has been great to work with. Franchisees have voted Octane the “Vendor of the Year” in 2015, and they were runner up in 2016. This is a very large accomplishment, as we have 100-plus vendors in the network.
CS: What are some of the factors that contributed to Octane being “Vendor of the Year” in 2015?
SN: Great service, quick response time and great products.
