The Edge Fitness Clubs, a 30-year-old, Connecticut-based chain of clubs, recently announced its plans to expand outside of Connecticut for the first time. By winter 2018, The Edge has three facilities set to open in the western New Jersey area.
The Edge is a premium health club that has amassed over 150,000 members throughout the years, offering something for first-time gym goers, committed fitness enthusiasts and everyone in-between. Some of these amenities include:
- Advanced and modern equipment
- A large turf and sprint area
- Individual and group training
- Group exercise classes
- 24-hour access
- Women’s-only area
- Edge Strong team training
- Kids programming
- Free weights
- Weight machines
The facility also includes luxury options such as saunas, tanning, massage, a cafe and a cardio cinema.
Joe Moretti, the vice president of operations at The Edge, recently said in a press release that the club is really looking forward to expanding its reach. “With our three new locations set to open, we are confident the residents in these New Jersey suburbs are getting access to best-in-class fitness offerings, to help them accomplish their fitness and wellness results,” added Moretti.
Two of the newest clubs will be located in Gloucester county, with the Washington Township and Deptford locations looking to open this fall and winter.
The Edge Fitness Clubs currently boasts 13 locations.
