Juan del Río, the CEO of VivaGym Group with 96 locations, has partnered with Exerp in order to increase their technical proficiency and improve the platform robustness. They plan to use this partnership to expand in Portugal.
Here, del Río shares how Exerp has enhanced their operations, catered to them throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and guided them through creating systems.
Why did you decide to partner with Exerp?
We scouted the market in search of a industry standard technological solution and found that Exerp was robust in terms of technology solution and the platform.
What are the benefits you are seeing as a result of this partnership?
Exerp’s knowledge of the fitness industry is deep and detailed. They have been able to provide guidance in terms of the architecture of the system and have shortened development time as a consequence of their in-depth fitness expertise.
What are the benefits to your members as a result of this partnership?
We will be able to connect with them better. The system is solid and stable, hence all administrative tasks will be dealt with guarantee of process and communication. With the additional configuration of features and linked customer relationship management system, we will segment the cohort better and direct more useful messages and communicate with a higher purpose.
Have you been pleasantly surprised by working with Exerp in any way?
They have supported us through the project during the early months of the development phase. They’ve also understood the situation caused by the pandemic and have catered to our needs.
How has your team enjoyed working with the new platform?
The team is inspired by the platform and happy with the stability of the database. We are looking forward to completing the project with the incorporation of the CRM part and increase our commercial capability.

Roll out of the technology suite to our business in Portugal.
