Daniel Stickler, the owner and CEO of FitCo Health Club, has been an ASF Payment Solutions (ASF) customer for six years.

What are the benefits to your business as a result of this partnership?
As we continue to grow, ASF has helped us navigate through the COVID-19 pandemic as well as most recently the growing pains of eight clubs by reinvesting back into their programming allowing us and our franchisees to concentrate on what matters most — the members. Over the years ASF has helped us create professional relationships with companies such as ClubOS, Passport and Listen360 to name a few. In return these relationships have assisted with our customer service, growth, profitability, advertising and much more.
What are the benefits to your members as a result of this partnership?
Our members benefit from us using ASF because it allows us and our franchisees to mitigate customers’ concerns — such as billing — in house without having to call a 1-800 number only to get the runaround. ASF’s programs allow us to choose who we give certain rights to through the system in regard to cancellations, refunds and many other things. With that being said, we can and still do send members to ASF to handle through their service center, allowing us to pick and choose what takes priority at that specific time.
Have you been pleasantly surprised by working with ASF in any way?
We have worked with four different billing/management systems and what we have been pleased with most about ASF compared to their competitors is the dedication to their partnerships. Their upper management team has worked with our growth and has helped us along the way find solutions to unforeseen problems like COVID-19. They listen to our needs and wants and help develop strategies to help us continue our success. They see our success as a mutual investment.
What else can you tell other club owners about the benefits of working with ASF?
One of the biggest perks to working with ASF is their willingness to listen and learn. Over the years ASF has sent out countless surveys among other avenues to receive feedback and took it and reinvested back into their programs creating a vision for the future to come. They have allowed us to choose our path to travel while giving advice along the way. Since our relationship with ASF we have been able to manage eight different locations with confidence in growing our brand and strengthening our relationship with our members all while staying ahead of the curve in the fitness industry.
