It is that time of year again, when everyone will be focused on weight loss and the quickest and most effective way to achieve results. As a health club you have an opportunity to shape your members’ destiny and help them achieve their goals. Statistics show that as a nation, we are getting heavier and unhealthier each year.
Statistics Show
Did you know that the recommended guidelines for daily exercise have increased to 90 minutes a day? That means a few years back, when the guidelines were just 30 minutes of exercise a day, we fell short and grew heavier as a nation. So, they raised the guidelines to 60 minutes a day, and now it’s a whopping 90 minutes a day. How many people have the time to exercise 90 minutes a day or better yet how many will exercise 90 minutes a day? Statistics show not very many. The truth is an overwhelming majority of our population still consumes a lot more calories than they are burning and that is what leads to being overweight and obese. Fast food is convenient and simple and exercise and eating right is not. So, the masses go with what is easy and simple and their bodies continue to grow at an alarming rate.
An Opportunity for Your Club and Results for Your Club Members
Current members and potential new members want a solution that will not take them 630 minutes (90 minutes per day multiplied by seven days per week) or 10.5 hours each week, to get in shape. They want quick, efficient results so that they do not feel their lives are overwhelmed with exercise. For your members to stick with exercise and achieve results you need to offer them solutions that require only 30 minutes of exercise activity per day on equipment that will burn the most calories. In essence, give them the most bang for their buck.
Members want the most efficient and effective fat-burning exercise available. If you were to ask each member if they preferred to exercise 90 minutes a day and get minimal results or 30 minutes a day and get phenomenal results, what do you think they would choose? Well the answer is obvious. We would all choose to exercise 30 minutes and achieve our weight loss goals. Your members do not have the time to spend numerous hours on cardiovascular equipment to get minimal results. This does not keep or maintain a high member-retention rate. If members don’t get results, they stop coming to the club and eventually drop their membership. But, what if you were able to offer your members a cardiovascular solution that has been proven to burn more calories than a treadmill, recumbent bike, elliptical or stair climber? Do you think this would be a solution worth offering them? More importantly, what type of impact would this have on your business?
The majority of members who come to your club do so to lose weight and stay healthy. Do your members know the information they need to know to successfully reach their goals? What if all of your members knew exactly how to lose weight in the most effective, healthy way as well as the exercise that would provide them with the greatest benefits in the least amount of time? Would they look at your club differently?
During cardiovascular activity your body needs energy. The more energy (calories) required by your body during exercise, the more calories you burn. Thus, you are burning excess calories that would otherwise be stored as fat, or burning stored fat from your body’s energy supply, which leads to weight loss.
The Most Effective Fat-Burning Secret Revealed.
Total-body cardiovascular training is a way to ultimate weight-loss success in the least amount of time for your members. What I mean is, a cardiovascular exercise that:
• Uses the total body
• Actively involves and engages all major muscle groups for increased calorie burning
• Requires your members far less time to burn more fat, and more calories, than other conventional cardiovascular equipment.
The best form of total-body vertical training is vertical training. Vertical training involves having your arms above your head and your body in an upright position where you are pulling and pushing, in a vertical push-and pull pattern, against various levels of resistance. Vertical training actively involves all major muscle groups and gives your members the highest calorie burn, and highest fat burn in the least amount of time. If your members could burn more calories in 30 minutes or less by doing total-body vertical training, what type of impact would this have on your club?
Your members are at your club for results. You must provide your members with equipment that provides the greatest results in the most effective and efficient amount of time. For ultimate weight loss success of your members, consider totalbody vertical training.
