The latest Trainerize Apple Watch update takes workouts to the next level — enabling a beyond the gym experience powered by wearables.
Since 2012, Trainerize has facilitated convenient, communicative, on-the-go personal training for worldwide users via their mobile app. Then, in September 2020, Trainerize empowered fitness businesses and personal trainers to deliver coaching straight to their clients’ wrists via the Apple Watch app.
In the latest update, clients using Trainerize can enjoy an even better Apple Watch experience. Clients and gym members can now seamlessly start and track their workouts from their wrist in Watch Only mode — on the go, no smartphone required.
In addition to watch-only, on-the-go workouts, the Apple Watch app powered by Trainerize now includes:
- New cardio activities, including swimming, dancing and HIIT.
- Customized watch faces.
- Quick access to favourite Trainerize features.
- At-a-glance steps, nutrition and habits.
- In-the-moment progress tracking.
Plus, advanced tracking enables trainers to get a better understanding of their clients adherence and accomplishments, putting data tracking and health data on center stage — automatically syncing to the trainer’s mobile app.
“As clients complete exercises, the accompanying tracker will record progress data, such as workout duration, calories burned and heart rate,” said Trevor Chong, the product director at Trainerize. “Plus, the app guides the workout, counting down time for a timed workout or running a stopwatch for cardio.”
This latest Apple Watch app update is just one more way that Trainerize is building the bond between trainers, their clients and the possibilities of digital fitness. A custom-branded version of the Watch app is included on all Studio or Enterprise plans giving clients a fully-branded watch experience.
Full access to the Apple Watch app powered by Trainerize is included with any Trainerize plan.
